We happened upon this restaurant on a Saturday evening when our other dining plans had fallen through. What a find! Limited but interesting and well-curated drinks offerings. Warm olives small plate was a great start. Best liver & onions my husband has ever had - and he tries this whenever it is on a menu. My trout was mouthwatering with crispy skin and the crunchy green beans were perfect. And, as another review noted, the lemon poppy seed mascarpone cheesecake is heavenly. I started off with an appetizer of "Devils on Horseback" - prunes stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in bacon. It was a delightful combination. For our main courses, my wife ordered the filet while I went with the liver and onions. Both dishes were cooked perfectly to our liking, beautifully presented, and accompanied by locally sourced produce. We enjoyed a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and a glass of Flying Monkeys IPA to complement our meal.

I was disappointed last night. It is a beautiful spot and lovely restaurant. The service was ok, we had to pour our own wine given that we were the only ones in restaurant.... the pasta was overlooked and no sign of tasting or seeing peaches in this. We were looking forward to the mussels and beer Thursday special advertised on their website but were no longer available. We had planned our dinner through the web.
Only problem is finding this wonderful restaurant. It is actually located on Willow Street around the corner from the Elm Street address. For some reason the Elm Street address for this mall, which is the back side of the mall is used for all the businesses in the plaza. The meal was excellent, steak dinner, and the wine was great. Will be back as soon as possible.

Mixed reviews on the food - soup and fired smelt appetizers were great - salad overdressed, fritters kind of bland...mains - fried chicken burnt, pasta entrees over cooked, souls vide duck...chewy, all perfectly edible but average at very best. Desert cheesecake may have been the highlight....looking at other reviews maybe it was an off night...
juniper is a lovely restaurant just a bit off the beaten track in the town of Paris Ontario . Make it part of your day for a special treat , great service, staff that really want you to be happy with your choices and exceptional food . call ahead and make a reservation for late week and weekends. the staff is excellent . you have to wait a bit, but the steak and the blackened cod are worth the wait.
