The food was fantastic, with the perfect amount of batter. I tried both the mullet and the tilapia, and your homemade tartar sauce is outstanding! Even though he was a Cowboys fan, I’m still giving them a five-star rating. The staff is very friendly and actually engages in conversation instead of just taking your money. You have the option of mullet, tilapia, or wels, and everything is cooked fresh to order, so it comes out hot and delicious. The picture shows the tilapia.

The people working there were super nice. The line was kinda long, but someone took your fish order before you actually got to the front of the line. The grits were good; the fish was great. Delicious breading, perfect cook, and plenty of food for the money. You have to put in some effort to catch them when they're open, but it's worth it. I will return, for sure.

Wanted a local/southern option for lunch and this place did not disappoint! Friendly and family-oriented staff, excellent portions and so very good. The 5th star would be if they had a few more side options...yes, I get it, the name says it all BUT would love the full southern experience of having greens and mac'n cheese--either way, I'll be back.

We had the catfish and cheese grits. Ordered the 3 piece combo and it was enough for both of us. It is very busy from 11:30 thru the noon hour Not a lot of places to sit people and they do a huge takeout business. They are just open on Friday and Saturday. A highly recommended them.

The name says it all—everything is perfect and focused on fish. It's a family-run establishment, and everyone is incredibly friendly. Whether you choose to dine in or grab something to go, this place is one of Pensacola's hidden gems. I give it 5 stars!

The staff are wonderful people, always happy. They are so personable. And on top of that, the fish is amazing, it has great flavor and a perfect crunch. The cheese grits are very well made and it's just a local diamond! I love this place!

How can anyone hate this place? Crispy and beautifully seasoned fried fish and geese are sold. These are the only ones they sell there, but they are extremely good. I wish they had more sauces. Staff are very friendly and casual.

Diamond in the rough... Friendly staff, EXCELLENT. A little pricey, but well worth it! Tartar sauce is home made and complements the three types of fish Tilapia, Mullet Catfish perfectly.
