There's not much Korean food in the area/east, so it's really nice to have discovered an authentic restaurant in K-Food. Their location is also quite nice and peaceful, with good natural lighting coming in. The soy garlic fried chicken was really juicy. The steamed egg was puffy and not overcooked/dry. The oxtail soup is really pure and clean-tasting with a milky colour and tender, meaty oxtail (deboned) plus sweet potato noodles. Our first Korean restaurant experience, and we werent disappointed. The flavours seem very authentic, and their purple rice is a very nice touch to the cuisine. The young girl (might be daughter of owner is very friendly and while the service was not proactive, we still managed to get what we wanted : would surely go back to try more dishes.

Usual combo: braised short ribs and the snowing chicken(boneless). I simply love everything about this restaurant! The staff was very friendly, always smiling at you. I’ll say this is the restaurant that I come back for a hundred times.

A little treasure in Waterloo. Very good homely and tasty Korean food. Tastes just like how mum cooks it. Try the bulgogi pancake and many sides! Highly recommend. Will definitely come again!
