Dear Monsieur / Madam You have a great location, right on the Quay side, in a lovely French fishing village. You advertise 12 (local) oysters for 19 euros. We come to your restaurant: (1) we are kept standing by the entrance, waiting to be seated. (2) After 3 minutes, we choose a table ourselves and sit down. (3) Then we wait for 10 minutes until we get the attention of the waiter. (4) We ask for 12 oysters and a bottle of white wine (40 euros) but are told we have to also order dessert. (5) I say actually we only want the oysters and wine. She makes a face but eventually the oysters arrive. What have we leant from this experience? The oysters were fabulous, fresh and zingy. Quality seafood, nicely presented salmon tartar, homemade fries (and coming from the North, border with Belgium, I can tell you that it means a lot! . Homemade desserts also... We don't regret stopping here. Make sure you're ready! All the restaurants are stormed, but the boss has been nice enough to let us cling to three on a table of two. Well then, it's expensive... But of course it's expensive! Terrace that overlooks the port of Ars, the prices will obviously not be given. And this restaurant could have been a catcher/cyclist, which is not the case. Anyway, if you ride the island by bike, and you're looking to stop on Ars, and that's not a bad choice!

We had a wonderful meal in this little restaurant. Got a great table on the covered terrace, with a lovely view of the harbour. Shared a starter of goats cheese and salmon and then my husband had the cuttlefish, whilst i had the prawns, followed by cafe gourmand and brownies. The kids were also very happy. All the dishes were delicious. The service was friendly and quick and the bill was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

Good experience, dinner on the port, the street passes, but it's forgotten. A server can be puked after its season but courteous at any time. The dishes were garnished and very correct, fresh products and desserts of the day undoubtedly. Maybe a little expensive, but the island wants... A good time to two!

Good address for a family dinner on the terrace on the port. Good products (excellent beef yarn) and perfect execution. Desserts made home very good and warm. Beautiful and smiling, with no chichi. The staff wore his visor. Note: very reasonable price for Ars en Ré, so why deprive you. To discover.

One of our favourite restaurants on the Ile. Obviously family run, with a good combination of quality food and interested and accommodating service. Kind to children and food always appealing to them -we're already looking forward to coming back.

Very good restaurant! a beautiful map at reasonable prices. Well-filled salads. homemade fries and desserts! a mention is a bravo to the server, a certain mathieu. We will return to our future holidaymakers

We came to 4 for lunch, we loved it. Very good table, address to be made. The kitchen is good, tasteful, well served and everything on the harbour. Think about booking...
