Kaffeerosterei Sylt

This small facility must have the best location at the end of the hiking trail around the Rantum Basin. After a stormy and rainy hike we went to this café, which looked so cozy, warm and inviting from the outside. The place was almost full, it smells like coffee, and the cakes looked amazing. We had tea and chocolate cake and a nice rest before we continue our hike. The staff here is friendly, and it would be a big mistake to walk on the Rantum Basin.

Der Kaffee mag gut sein, aber der Laden ist schlecht organisiert, es geht chaotisch zu und man wartet ewig. Wir waren recht früh am Nachmittag dort und der meiste Kuchen war schon aus. Für Kinder gibt es so gut wie nichts - keine einfachen Kuchen oder Kekse. Selbst beim Kakao setzt man auf eine vergleichsweise bittere Sorte. Ist ja in Ordnung, eine gewisse Kultur zu pflegen, aber letztlich soll es ja auch einfach schmecken.

We have read about this cafe and wanted to try it. The coffee is really excellent. They also offer cakes and cookies . Delicious! It is a quite small and cozy place with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Not to be missed when you are on Sylt.

Und äußerst gute Kuchen gibt es dazu. Hatte die Ehre durch den Inhaber selbst eine Kaffeedegustation zu machen. Bravo!
