I visited Kanda Sushi at Rosmere at many instances. I really like this palce for its simplicity, price and general atmosphere. There are definitely ups and downs to the place, here 's my experience went. 1 Location The restaurant is located on the Curé Labelle boulevard...leading towards Rosemere, within somewhat of an old shopping center. The place can be of course accessed on foot for all guests who live nearby but definitly need a car for those who live a little bit farther. On Saturday, we ate the most disappointing dinner in the past long while. We ordered out for $66 and it was entirely unacceptable. The miso soup SUPER SALTY and nothing inside no tofu, no seaweed nothing but SALT! The beef teriyaki ...was switched for a horrible chicken dish, which looked and tasted so unappetizing and the chicken itself older than my 14 year old running shoes, and tasting about the same in consistency and flavor. When I called the restaurant, the clerk apologized and said that yes, thats their Teriyaki chicken... That looked like anything but. I went to Kanda with my father and we were not greeted at the door, after a minute or two we asked one of the staff if we should seat ourselves or wait and we were told very rudely to wait a minute. After looking...at the menu we asked if there was a menu option other then all you can eat since neither one of us eats a lot. She told us there was a take out menu but that they only serve the all you can eat in the restaurent. After questioning her a few more times she said she could serve us a take out order but she would charge us a three dollar charge each. our waitress had the geduld of noone! she did not explain to us how we provided our orders on the sheet. at one point she told my friend that he couldn't order another part of sushi until he finished what he ate. when it was time to place our drink order, it served us and forgot others. it has also doubled our food order to the point where the manager/owner came and took care of us for the rest of the evening. we went on a thursday evening for dinner. the fish was fresh as was all the other food. i was impressed. this has become my favourite sushi chain in the montreal area. everything was fresh and amazing. we enjoyed the phoenix, kamikaze, seafood sushi. the...tempura was good, especially the crab and shrimp. the hot and sour soup was amazing. i will definitely be going back. hopefully sometime soon.

The buffet at this restaurant allows you to eat as much as you want, and the taste is decent. However, the service is lacking warmth as nobody greeted us when we arrived, we had to find our own seats and wait for the staff to come to us. It doesn't feel very friendly. This place seems to prioritize quantity over quality.

We went to Kanda when staying at Le Finlandais spa during Easter weekend. We had an enjoyable dinner at Kanda. The sushi was good, but the sides were special. Satay, sirloin steak, tempura, all very good and tasty. And the service was amazing and courteous....We really enjoyed our experience here. Reserva una mesa ahora

I like the selection of sushi available for the all you can eat menu but I find it more pricey on Fri, Sat, Sun. Also the selection is expanded on those days. Overall it 's a good value for price but since you can 't bring your...own wine, it gets expensive.
