Kanela Breakfast Club in Chicago is a must visit for anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable breakfast experience. I eat here regularly, and I'm always impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious, some of my favorites include the monkey bread, the goat cheese omelette, and the blueberry pancakes. The monkey bread is a must try it's a giant cinnamon bun that's served warm and gooey. The goat cheese omelette is light and fluffy, and the blueberry pancakes are packed with fresh blueberries. I really enjoy this restaurant when it's on point. I have visited all of their locations, but I find the quality to be inconsistent. When the food is good, it's outstanding! But when it's bad, it's really bad. The same goes for the service - it can be hit or miss. However, I still recommend checking it out for brunch. I recently had a great experience at the old town location. The service was excellent, the waiter made excellent recommendations, and exuded confidence - which I loved!
This restaurant is a wonderful spot for brunch in the summer. There is comfortable seating available outside, and the staff are friendly and willing to accommodate your needs. The food was excellent, even for vegetarians like myself - the potato waffles, beyond burger, and PB&J smoothie were delicious and satisfying! However, the prices are a bit on the higher side. If they were $10-20 cheaper, I would give it a 5-star rating, but I still think it's worth it.
Fantastic service, fast turnout, and tasty! Everything was served hot fresh. The red velvet French toast, cheesy scrambled breakfast sandwich, and chicken waffles were all equally delicious. The kids menu griddle plate for around $10 was also perfect for a 4 year old. Would recommend and also visit again, but do note that when it's busy, the ambiance is extremely loud so you'll likely have to yell if you want your partner to actually hear you.

Our server, Nicole was so nice gave us great service! The food though, was very salty nothing exciting for the cost. Same for the drinks. Also not many Gluten Free options the vegan/vegetarian labels on the menu were misleading.
High quality of food. Very tasty. The banana nut pancakes are simply amazing. Good service. Slightly loud, but nothing you can’t talk over.
Came on Sat while they were training and it was still amazing! Ryan is so wonderful and hilarious and made the experience so fun!
