Never had a dine in experience like this before. Unfortunately they only serve take away containers after 730pm which is perplexing, but the treatment we received when we asked for plates (like the other diners) was truly appalling. The manager was confronting, stood over us at the table and we actually left. I am actually quite speechless, why would anyone behave like that? Completely ruined the experience. Food ok for the burbs.
a few years ago I ordered brown rice and they gave me white rice, so I asked them about the right order and they accused me more. I can't really remember, but it really upset me so I didn't go back and I didn't say my family either. blood is thicker than rice and water. I am sure they are nice people, but if they can't get my order right and try to avoid my eyes with price fixing. What else are they capable of? xx mrs soup
Kanji Fresh Sushi in Sylvania used to be the best sushi spot in Sutherland Shire, but it has really declined. The quality no longer matches what it used to be. The staff is no longer welcoming or enthusiastic. They only accept cash now and have very early closing hours. Even if you arrive in front of the kitchen around 8 PM, they often won’t serve you because they’ve already started packing up for the night.
The man has really let this place go downhill. The gyoza tastes like it came straight from the frozen section at Aldi! The tempura batter is usually light and crispy, but our "tempura" dish had a thick coating that reminded me of a heavily fried savory snack, complete with panko sprinkled on top. Really poor quality food.. karage was cold and dry and the terjyakich salmon was nothing but spice... really like this chain and eat there a lot but this was a really poor meal we ate one piece each and had to stop.
No EFTPOS machine...you can do a bank transfer if you don't have cash (account in a personal name). This is ludicrous in this day and age, not to mention the prices are robbery!
