"Their brunch menu was awesome! We had the naan and curry to start, which was great. Then I got Shroom Melt Sando and my friend got the Green Eggs Ham, both delicious and very flavorful!"

Reserved a table for two to celebrate wife's birthday and noting the special occasion online. We frequently celebrate our birthdays at Kapa Hale for the fix price dinner and deal with the lack of ambiance on the special occasion. Wearing her birthday leis and dressed well for the happy celebration, we were seated outdoors at a metal table facing the parking lot with the hot evening sun shining on our faces. Seated next to us were a younger couple wearing t-shirts and shorts. I asked how and why we had to sit outside when I didn't recall the website asking if we wanted to sit inside or outside, the hostess provided a non-responsive answer, “sorry we sit customers according to their reservatio...

"Naan y'ur Bidness was very good, and the Haku Lei salad was excellent. However, the dumplings were quite doughy, and the oxtail black bean special was a greasy mess. The Steak au Poivre was served rare as I ordered, but the sauce was too sweet and gooey. The service felt rushed and impersonal, almost indifferent, although the other staff members apart from our main waiter were great. I also think the bar needs improvement—there was no tonic, and the service was slow, seemingly relying on a cocktail list of house specialties that didn’t impress. On the positive side, we’ve had very good dinners here, particularly the tagliatelle, risotto, and zucchini. Despite the drawbacks, I would still re...

This is a neighborhood gem. I can't stop thinking about that Pork Belly on the tasting menu. There were three courses with wine pairing. Started with a mix trio, then pork belly (Lechon de Kawali) I thought this was more of an entree portion, but not gonna complain about that. Then finished off with a chocolate mudslide pie which they called da kahala. Left paying less than $100 for a brilliant crafted farm to table meal with wine pairing. Also, a huge positive I left without feeling super hungry and not rolling out of there overly fed. If you're in the Kahala neighborhood or just want a food adventure you gotta check this place out.

We've visited for brunch many times, and it always results in a fantastic meal—every bite deserves a 10/10. Last night was no exception. However, the service was incredibly slow and not very friendly or attentive. We noticed a few people who arrived after us received their orders first. We don’t typically order cocktails and have observed that servers sometimes seem to pay more attention to customers who do. I hope that’s not the case, but I can’t think of another explanation. The food was both innovative and delicious. The salad, presented like a haku lei, was not only beautiful but also tasty. We appreciated that this restaurant supports local farmers and producers, as noted on their menu. The Laksa Risotto was absolutely mouthwatering. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable, and we observed great teamwork among them. A big thanks to Chef Keaka Lee and the entire staff for a memorable evening!

Five of us enjoyed lunch there. Service and food was excellent! Only issue was I believe the restaurant was short staffed, so our waiter didn't swing by to check on beverage refills as frequently as it could have been. However, we enjoyed the lunch experience and had a great time chatting among friends.
