Karl's Sausage Kitchen European Market

This place is the best. Crammed with European goodies like tinned fish and real Cadbury and salted licorice and fun mustards and great cheese, and then the main attraction: the butcher case. The sausages, both fresh and smoked or cured, are out of this world good. The most tender, flavorful, light weisswurst I've ever had in my life. Frankfurters that made me realize why people like franks. I had a smoked pork chop the other day recommended to me by someone else in line and I can't describe it, you just have to go eat it. Service is efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is old school and bustling. Love it! There's a reason they've been around for half a century.

The store part is a perfect example of an old school German grocery store. All it 's lacking is the Bäckerei! They more than make up for it with their hausmade sausages and imported meats and cheeses from Europe. They also offer a little café where you can get everything for a traditional 'Kaffee und Kuchen ' (coffee and cake) to a Stammtisch (regular meetup to drink and socialize). The staff is friendly and helpful. Don 't let its small size deceive you, it is packed to the brim with everything you need to recreate a little bit of Germany in the US. Also, just like in Germany they don 't do tips.

I love Karl's Sausage. Great place for a bite, delicious and fresh food. I always get the smoked bacon sliced thick, better quality and PRICE than anywhere else, especially in grocery stores. All the sausages are delicious so don't leave without a stock for the near and far future. The market part is a bit on the pricier side but I assume it's because of importing. Always a high recommendation to everyone I know who likes German food or is from Germany. Braunwerst and Chorizo are fantastic...

First time here! Wonderful place for all your German heritage! The market has everything but the restaurant is where this place takes the gold! Can be a little bit of a wait because it only holds very few guests. But the food is traditional and true. The beverages are amazing as well!... Who doesn't love a great beer? !!!! Looking for a traditional German meal... Look no further. Karl's is the place to go.

I love the Temple of German Food. I recently tried the homemade Bauerwurst for dinner and it was delicious. Their selection of German deli products is excellent, including baked goods and European candies. Unfortunately, the cafe had to close due to Covid, but I'm glad the store remains open. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful, making every shopping experience a pleasure.

The restaurant is a bit crowded, but it's truly incredible. I enjoy being able to purchase the candies my father used to bring back from Germany. The selection of Lebkuchen alone is worth a visit. I just devoured some of the best Knockwurst I've ever tasted, all handmade in-house. This place is fantastic.

A small parasise if you like german sausage, cheese, crackers, chocolate, jams, cakes, crackers or beer (just to name a few). The store is packed with products but can get crowded as isles are fairly narrow.

A rare source for imported European and especially German food, with a very wide selection. This place is very popular with Europeans living in the Boston area. And they make excellent sausage as well.

Great place with authentic German groceries. The best fresh sausages, cooked to order in a sit-down, table service environment. Great draft and bottle selections of German beers!
