I have dined at this restaurant many times over the past 10 years. Although it has changed owners a few times, the quality has remained consistent. I prefer to have lunch here rather than dinner, as the lunch menu is very reasonably priced and offers a generous portion. When you order one of the combinations, you also receive hot miso soup, a sizable salad, and your choice of green tea/matcha or vanilla ice cream for dessert in addition to your main dish. My go-to order is usually the sushi/sashimi meal with tempura (including 2 large shrimp) or, if you prefer not to have tempura, you receive more pieces of sushi/sashimi. We have eaten in Kashima for many years enjoyable, clean, restaurant with nice service and delicious food. We ordered the delivery after 3 months COVID 19 quarantine. The food was the best we had ever eaten in this restaurant: fresh, generously cut and... beautifully presented, sashimi was toothy and delicious. And the value was very reasonable. Very recommend to everyone, especially missed the sushi at the time of Covid.

The night before we left for a week with friends in South Florida we stopped in to have supper. Well, we were treated to a feast that was pleasant to the eyes and a taste delight. We ordered the Titanic. We could not finish the...offering. It is huge for two people. You get a taste of many things offered. Delightful setting, quiet and the place was full). Very clean. Used to go for sushi lunches at Kaizen on St. Catherine, but when they closed, I was introduced to Kashima. Enter through a door you could easily miss on Greene Avenue, head up a long set of stairs, and there you will find a quiet...and simple sushi restaurant that offers great meals at reasonable prices. Dependable Sushi with delivery option. Now opposite the neighborhood competition that causes an upgrade in decor. Hopefully it will survive. Also not excellent and clean and quiet with an excellent menu and very good sushi options. Supposedly busier for lunch. I see the attraction. A visit for sushi lovers in the area.

This restaurant is a nice spot to grab a meal. It is clean and spacious. The lunch special offers great value with soup, salad, and ice cream included. I tried the sushi boat for two during dinner and it was delicious. While it may not be the best sushi I've ever had, it was definitely satisfying and tasty.

It's been a while since we ate sushi here. You're never disappointed. Even though it was taken out due to the pandemic regulations, the food was fresh and tasty.

I live in the neighborhood and have been here in a pinch when I was starving and wanted asian food. Otherwise i would not bother.
