The hooks on the stall doors are so low they seem designed for kids, meaning any purse or bag hangs so low that it touches the filthy bathroom floor—mine did, and I had to put it on top of the toilet paper holder. By the way, the toilet paper is cheap and thin as well. The soap dispenser is missing a lid and isn’t properly secured to the wall, so when you try to press the pump for soap, it pops off and sprays soap everywhere, getting it all over you and the bathroom. Another patron witnessed this and also had an unfortunate experience, as they got caught in the "splash zone." It’s truly unacceptable.

The staff at this restaurant were rude, and the food was overpriced. I couldn't help but feel that I was disrespected by an unfriendly lady who seemed to have a problem with staring. Even if I wasn't directly insulted, there was no reason for her to laugh about it with her friends. Aren't employees supposed to present themselves well to attract a younger clientele? At first, I thought she was a kind older woman, but I definitely won't be returning to this unpleasant, poorly-staffed establishment.
Spikes has a fantastic atmosphere and great food, but there's one significant downside: the cook. His rudeness towards customers is off-putting. He often drinks on the job, instigates fights, and really brings down the vibe. It's a shame because everything else is so enjoyable.
I ordered a pound of mild bites, and they were very disappointing. The restaurant only accepts cash, but there were no signs to inform customers about this. The bartender was also quite rude. I would not recommend this place.
