Kate's Town Talk Bakery

Just WOW. I've lived close to Kate's Bakery for years now and the fact today was my first time visiting I've been absolutely missing out. I got an egg salad sandwich (amazing, also huge portion for the price , a couple of butter tarts, cookies and an iced chai latte.Can confirm these cookies and tarts are nothing like I've ever had in my life. And the drink? Beyond anything I've ever had at a chain like Starbucks. The staff member who made my drink was new but you could easily tell she wanted to make it absolutely perfect for me (which she did thank you again! .Honestly I wish I took a photo to show in this review but they were gone within minutes of the first bite.Such an amazing gem in Str...

I love the tarts and the lunch items are good. I'm all about supporting local businesses as Streetsville is my hometown, but please clean up the dead bees on the window ledges regularly as the sight of them is hugely unappetizing each time I take a bite of my meal seated by the windows. Don't need to look at them, sure. But one glance is knowledge enough.

Everything is absolutely delicious! Butter tarts, pies, sandwiches, cookies. . .all of it! Bought my husband and son each a half dozen butter tarts for Valentine's day I think the pastry is what makes them so good! <3 But I love the raspberry rhubarb pie the best!

I knew I had to try the highly recommended empire cookies: amazing, just how they should be. Then I laid eyes on the butter tarts and couldn't resist; they were INCREDIBLE!
