Just WOW. I've lived close to Kate's Bakery for years now and the fact today was my first time visiting I've been absolutely missing out. I got an egg salad sandwich (amazing, also huge portion for the price , a couple of butter tarts, cookies and an iced chai latte.Can confirm these cookies and tarts are nothing like I've ever had in my life. And the drink? Beyond anything I've ever had at a chain like Starbucks. The staff member who made my drink was new but you could easily tell she wanted to make it absolutely perfect for me (which she did thank you again! .Honestly I wish I took a photo to show in this review but they were gone within minutes of the first bite.Such an amazing gem in Str...

This is a busy place. We came in for a coffee and some pastry, sat at one of five tables and watched a steady flow of people who had placed orders on this hometown food. Pies, rolls, bread, cheesecake, sweet buns, lots of choice. Their date squares are my personal favourite. Efficient and friendly service. Limited on street parking.

Thought based on the reviews it would have been amazing but the cookies were disappointing. Nothing special. Also, the service was subpar try saying hello.
