I visited this place a couple of times with co-workers and in general I was quite excited by the food. Last time I was with my wife, and I can tell that we liked only half of the dishes we decided to try. Anyway, I can recommend this place for visiting. PS: lamb dan dan was really bad to my taste. Felt kind of a bitter taste (were peanuts burnt? . It was the first time I tried dan dan, so it might be that it was ok, don't know. But I didn't like it so much, that I didn't finish it (it's rare thing that I dislike food that much .
Food was outstanding as usual but our server was quite crass. She left to go over to a meeting at the Whelk and we sat for a half another waiting for the waiter or waitress who was taking over and no one ever came by. Finally the bartender saw me looking around and asked if we needed anything. I asked for our food to be packed up to go which he did but also closed our tab and did not ask if we wanted dessert, which we did because I was taking my friend out for her birthday.
Kawa Ni is the best restaurant I have ever been in to in my entire life. Not one bad thing on the menu. Definitely recommend that karaage don. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Kawa ni is our favorite place to go. Never disappointed in food or service. Staff is very helpful when suggesting something new. We totally recommend!

absolutely fantastic meal! we had a great mix of shared appetizers and meals. all were excellent. the particular favorite was the spicy lamb dan dan.
Foods are creative and taste good. Only down side is things are on the salty side of scale. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
