I've visited this place a few times, and my whole family loves the Kwartha ice cream. It consistently meets my expectations. While it’s not a fancy establishment by any means, it's definitely worth stopping by. They offer a wide range of options, and the staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions. I've noticed there’s usually a bit of a wait, and unfortunately, there’s no parking available, so I had to park across the street. They do have a drive-thru, but the line can get quite long, which just shows how popular this spot is. I don't understand how anyone could give this place anything less than 5 stars. You go there for the ice cream, and that's all you need to know—it’s Kawartha ice cream, and it’s fantastic! The staff is always friendly and doing their best, even when it gets busy. Yes, there might be times when they are short on certain flavors, but that's a widespread issue and not specific to this store; it’s just how things are right now. They simply scoop the ice cream for you, so any complaints about other matters, aside from maybe an uneven scoop, really aren’t their fault. Overall, it’s the BEST ICE CREAM YOU CAN GET, and this location is exceptional!

Love that this location has both a drive thru and a walk up option. Be prepared if you are planning to use the drive thru that there will be a line up to get in, but you won't have to wait too long. The line usually goes pretty quickly, especially M Th. Lots of options for ordering Scooped ice cream, milk shakes, sherbert, or just pick up some grocery items like milk, butter or eggs.

This is the best place to get locally made ice cream! We always choose the French vanilla and death by chocolate flavors. We enjoy it drizzled with our homemade smoked maple syrup from our farm, and the combination is absolutely delicious. Ordered through their drive thru, it was very quick. They have a lot of flavour to pick from and the portions were very generous—the scoops were massive and it was definitely worth the price. Although, as a first time customer, the menu was kind of confusing at first.

Although the quality of the ice cream and the service were satisfactory, I observed that the waiting time was longer than usual. Improving the ordering and serving process could significantly enhance the customer experience.

The black raspberry thunder is white chocolate ice cream. WHITE CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM! Milkshake was great too but you gotta try the black raspberry thunder if you like white chocolate.
