I was expecting more from this place based of all of their rave reviews but was sorely disappointed. For starters, dine in experience is ordering your food up front at the register and then choosing your seat. Once your order is ready they 'll bring the food out to your table. You 'll have to grab your utensils, napkins and condiments by the front island in front of the register. The island is well stocked and organized. Just a strange way to have a dine in experience in my opinion. This spot seems to be more popular by ways of take-out. Great food, awful service. I went in to place an order and other than a couple little kids in front of me waiting to buy some candy the employees (one of whom I believe is the owner or manager) completely ignored me. I watched as she tended to her doordash tablet and answered TWO phone calls before even acknowledging me or the kids in front of me. It?s like I was invisible, it was insane. I stood there for literal minutes without anyone even saying hello or ?we?ll be right with you? I?ve never been ignored to that degree in a place of business, it was almost surreal. Apparently they?re doing fine so maybe they don?t care about my business, but I won?t be going back.
My visit here today was great the lady was very nice and welcoming when taking my order and checking to see if everything was good A . It 's nice that they also have a few other items as well to purchase to enjoy Japanese food and snacks at home. The environment in the dining area in very nice and clean and well taken care of. Overall the sushi it ordered was Excellent and being that they didnt have the Dragon roll on the menu she said if you know what it has we can make it no problem that was really nice and it was perfect! Great place for Lunch or Dinner Highly Recommend Coming here!!
I don't know about the Bento box, but the yakisoba OH MY GOODNESS, you can't find a better tasting noodle dish anywhere! I live a distance, so believe me when I say I tried. I paid more for the same dish elsewhere, took a bite and thrown it away in the garbage. The chicken is grilled and the whole dish tastefully. I love to order my food and be left alone while I enjoy it. My least preferred thing in this place is when they close for vacation, but I completely get it lol. I always add additional veggies like Broccoli and was never disappointed, except perhaps if I take my last bite.
