a pretty little place with a beautiful sitting area in the open. we visited it enthusiastically from their seasonal pfifferlingen menu. we had no reservation, but it worked well. we have a nice table outside. their Chanterelle menu is not extensive, but sufficient. the service was good and fast. our server, jenny, was very friendly. we ordered bark tar for a starter, two suppening, the filet and fried chanterelles in butter, served with a baguette. our application was mixed a little, and instead of fried mushrooms we have a carving. the Chanterelle sauce on her looked really good, but when we asked about the meat for the cutlet, we were informed that it was pork. because we don't eat a pig,...
Nach langer Zeit waren wir mal wieder im Kellers, wir hätten es lassen sollen. Bedienung diskutiert lautstark vor Kunden wer welchen Tisch macht, Bedienung so lala, eine Kalbsleber sehnig und hart, Cordon bleu klein, geschmacklos mit zu wenig Beilagen dafür viel zu teuer, vor allem die Getränke. Sehr schlechte Luft im Lokal setzt dem Ganzen dann die Krone auf. Es gibt nicht einen Grund hier nochmals aufzutauchen, schade. Früher konnte das Kellers noch was. Sehr schade auch dass sowohl der Bedienung als angeblich auch dem Koch unsere Beschwerde komplett wo vorbeigingen, ein Espresso aufs Haus wäre wenigstens ne Entschuldigung gewesen.
We found the restaurant by accident, walking around the center of Mannheim we really wanted a German restaurant with local food. It is a gem. Luckily we found a table outside. Service was good. We had local beer and the chanterelles specialties, all great. Don’t...know why all reviews are from last year, but this restaurant is a must for a visit, especially since there are mainly Turkish and Arabic places nearby.
for Americans in Germany this is the best restaurant for this thanksgiving atmosphere. I found everything to be perfect and would recommend to any American who is not with there family to visit this restaurant. they will treat you as family. I recommend. this place for everyone if I have the chance. not difficult to find right next to public transport.

I suspect that Mannheim is not the gastronomic centre of Germany but a warm friendly greeting from Jenny, backed up with thoroughly enjoyable, good food, made for a delightful evening. Many dishes I would have loved to try, but we go on tomorrow.
Nettes Restaurant in der Innenstadt. Wir hatten ein leckeres Schnitzel, dass frisch aus der Pfanne kam. Es wäre allerdings noch besser gewesen, wenn es schön platt geklopft worden wäre. Umfangreiche Weinauswahl.Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Molti piatti da scegliere indirizzati a vegetariani, vegani, intolleranti al glutine. Molti anche i dolci ed i gelati per celiaci. I piatti gustati sono di buon livello. Il rapporto prezzo qualità e molto buono
Great restaurant with super service, very groundy cuisine but still ingredients from the finest and super prepared. I will definitely be back again when I am back in Mannheim
