Don't let the exterior of this local spot intimidate you, tourists. While it may seem a bit sketchy from the outside, the people inside are welcoming. The happy hour deals are great as well. I went with the fish and chips, but the standout dish was the spicy poke nachos that my wife ordered, made with fried wontons. We also enjoyed a local beer and dragon fruit cider. Sitting on the patio, we had a lovely time watching the boats come and go. Just be cautious about parking, as you are in a boat yard. The service was attentive and the overall experience dining in was fantastic.
Tourists, don't be afraid of this locals place. It does look a little sketch from the outside. People inside were great. Happy hour is a good deal. I ordered the fish and chips but the real star was the spicy poke nachos made with fried wontons that my wife ordered. A local beer and and dragon fruit cider? Yes please! We had a nice hour watching the boats come and go on their patio.Parking: You are in a boat yard so watch for things.
This restaurant has the best fish tacos on the island. The service is excellent and the restaurant has recently finished remodeling and is now open for business. The owners and waiter are friendly. It's definitely a must-visit place for delicious fresh fish straight from the boat. They also have a fish market where I plan to buy some fish in the near future. The ambiance is cozy and comfortable, like a souped-up hole in the wall.
If I could give it 0 stars, I would have. The food was gross, over fried and all frozen. I relied on the reviews and unfortunately, I think it were all fake! No way 120 reviews and everyone gave 4's and 5's, completely bogus. The food was over priced and skimpy. Avoid this place, go to the other million places to go in Kona. The food at this restaurant is excellent and the ambiance is very relaxed. It is located at the rear of the dock, past the parking lot and towards the boat launch. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I ordered the fish tacos and my husband had the fish and chips. Highly recommended!
I ordered the pancake breakfast with an egg and two strips of bacon. The portion size was generous for the price. The pancakes were big and fluffy, and overall, the meal was very satisfying. I would highly recommend this dish. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.
I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant! I stopped by and picked up a few pounds of fresh ahi and ono, as well as some delicious pistachio poke. My boys quickly devoured the ahi as sashimi. I would love to dine in next time. The food was excellent, 5 out of 5! Reserva una mesa ahora
