Kepos Street Kitchen

We had to wait for a table for about 10 minutes but the waitress kept us in the loop as to when we would be seated. We ended up outside beside a couple of cyclists and a lady with a dog - no problems with any of these people, they just added to the atmosphere of the place. The food came quickly and was very good. Our orders ranged from standard bacon and eggs to bacon and some fig invention (where do they get figs out of season?) to something called a cigar??? Reasonably priced. Service excellent.

We enjoyed a banquet for our table of 7 which took the pressure off the decision making. There was so much food and everything was delicious. I am sure the falafel are the best outside the Middle East. The salads were fresh and tasty, the stracciatella with smokey eggplant was a favorite and the ocean trout moussaka was inspired. The wine list was great and the service couldn't have been better. I can't believe it has taken us so long to eat here but I am certain that we will return very soon.

Had the meatball dish and a avocado salad. Both dishes were very average. Meatballs very dry, too much sour cream, eggs not well poached and toasted slice of bread as hard as the plate it was served on. In summary, very disappointing! Avocado salad too oily and not well balanced. Expected more from this place. Plus add to this a bit of an attitude of the waitress and breakfast was completely ruined.

Soyons honnêtes, il y a des gens qui raffolent de ce restaurant. Notre expérience était décevante. Des plats trop recherchés, avec des tas d'ingrédients qui produisent un résultat déséquilibré. Parfois on se demande ce que l'on mange On ne pratique pas le principe du KISS australien: Keep It Simple Stupid. Lunch today. Great to see the refurbished kitchen will undoubtedly enhance chef professional experience but likely to further demonstrate an already expedient service to table. Today, the duck ball with a touch of cinnamon was a superb adit to the menu and, what can one say about the wrapped Nutella and chocolate fondant poached pear...astonishing.

We had the chicken burger with middle eastern slaw and fries for lunch, it was very tasty. Large portion, we didn't need to eat again that day! Friendly staff and a nice setting, we sat outside.

We had a family lunch here. The good was interesting - a bit out of the ordinary- and very good. Extremely friendly and helpful service. Very enjoyable meal

The best restaurant in Sydney. Please try kepos Benedict and churros, salted caramel!!!! Baked meatballs is also delicious.
