This is an Estaminet in the real sense of the word (i.e. not a restaurant disguised as an Estaminet, as is unfortunately often the case), where one can come for a drink or a meal in a relaxed informal atmosphere. The beer list is continuously evolving and usually offers two craft beers on tap, plus a thoughtful choice of around 50 bottled beers. Food is definitely home cooked, with a reassuringly focused menu, which differs nicely from the standard Estaminet menu, without excluding some classics. The two brothers who run the place will welcome you warmly into this very Flemish establishment. Listen out for the old Dutch (Vlaams) that is still spoken by some of the older locals.
We love it here! We've now been on vacation in the little village of Terdeghem for the third time in 4 years, and Het Kerk Hoek is one of the reasons. We love the food. We love the beer. And the other beer. And even more beer, there have to be at least 50 or 60 different types. The owners, Romain and Bertrand make you feel at home. The other guests who mostly are from the little village make you feel at home. Did I mention we love it here?
Atypical and very welcoming place as the owner....In addition he loves motorbikes like my Nuovo Falcone.. he will recognize me without a doubt.. that it is possible to restore (very good and affordable), to desalter, it is the magical place par excellence.. and all around there is only the embarrassment of choice for walks.. A must-see place.
i loved this place, first for the Village, so charming, so genuine, so well maintained. second the Estaminet, the heart of the village, there is a bar and the restaurant, the menu is simple, local dishes, local supplier, typical receipes. the food is good, service efficient , decoration super nice!

Estaminet nice, with a super cool decor, biker atmosphere. A boss and a super friendly team, a reduced menu but dishes to the top! Good music groups immerse the room
The delicious, very well cooked pork stock, excellent homemade fries, all served with smile and kindness, here is a nice estaminet: we will return.
Always a pleasure to go on a motorcycle, only flat but moderate when there are too many people, the reception is limited by a crowded staff
