Gave 5 stars a year or so ago, but have to change it for what it is. Stopped here and got three sandwiches, two fries, a drink, and two malts. Now I know it takes a while at Kewpee, but I hadn't even ordered and waited 45 minutes. Got to the order box, gave my order, rhe person waited forever to reply, and repeated the order back. Must have been what he wanted to order because it was nowhere near what I had ordered, not even the drink was right. Another 20 minutes go by and I finally got to the pick up window, only to br met with someone who stared at me for an uncomfortable amount of time, take my card, stare at it like he just discovered fire, and ran the card. 10 more minutes went by and...
KEWPEE has been on my burger bucket list for a long time. We finally made it there and we were not disappointed. We went to the Elizabeth Street location at lunch time. The drive thru was busy but we easily found seating inside. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate malt and my wife got a hamburger with ketchup and pickle. The people working the counter were very friendly. Ordering was fast and easy. The food came out quickly and was very good. The burgers were bigger and much better than I expected. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We will be back.
Historic fast food restaurant. While it has the typical hamburgers (which were amazing) and fries (which were okay) but they also have frosted malts and fresh pies. This location isn 't fancy but the historic nature is fun and the food is worth it. Of note is the turntable at the back of the parking lot that was used, years ago, to turn cars around after using the drive through.
Best not only sandwich place but the in town kewpee is and has always been my favorite Kewpee Parking: It's just a little compact Kid-friendliness: I can remember eating there with my grandma and grandpaply like the sign says and I think of them Everytime I'm in there

I really adore this place. The food is amazing, the small restrooms have a certain charm, and the worn floors add to the character. I love everything about it!
First time to this burger restaurant. I was impressed with this location. All of the staff there are professionals and they all had great customer service.
We were shorted $10.00 and were unable to get a refund until the next day. They expected us to drive 22 miles back for their error.
Wow! What an incredible experience! There’s so much history in this place, and the food is fantastic!
