Went in for a cider with my mates the manger has very poor customer service and was refusing to serve us for no valid reason. I understand why at the first instance I was not severed as I forgot my id however I went back home brought it to show and he again refused to serve me for apparent bad attitude when all I was asking was a genuine question. Anyone who knows me knows I’m far from having a bad attitude! When coming back with my id and he saw me and my friend he rolled his eyes and shook his head at me it’s not very nice. Completely appalled with the service received. We went out for a drink, the manager was rude to my friends if I’m honest it appeared to be a race thing as he was lovely to everyone else. This man then refused to serve me afterwards giving me a horrible attitude so we had to leave.
A very busy day at the pub, the staff remained calm and professional. The food was so delicious and the pints were cheap for York. A fabulous experience and TV screens everywhere which was great for the PL finals. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday.
popped in with some mates and a (very excitable dog and have no faults. we all ordered food- it came promptly and was amazing. the staff are great- so friendly and professional : great student pint deals too!!

Came to watch the last PL games. Atmosphere were brilliant, even when the place was packed the staff were still smiley and helpful. Would highly recommend, cheapest and happiest place in york! Great place.
