I stopped at this small beautiful place for the end of my visit in york and it was an amazing place. we had not enough time to enjoy all the dishes so that we tried 5 of them - roasted califove, fried chicken, spicy beef tartar, loaded octopus and lambs boil. fried chicken- it could be the easiest dish of this 5 but was quite tender enough. spicy beefy wetar- my favorites from the 5. it's just so amazing with fresh bark and tasty sauce. the award-winning otopus- it is a drop-small comparison with the price, but the otopus was really tender. the lamb bell. it is tender and juicy. the only part I didn't like so much was that I could still taste the stinking part of the lamb. the service was gr...
small teller with fantastic aromas and textures! we had crispy pork, deenlebermousse, probably the best praying I ever had, a raw scallop pizza, grilled otopus and lamb carpaccio. I don't think you can go wrong with a choice. we sat on the cookable and were impressed by the many cooks they had and how seamless everything was plated. the wine list was also exquisite. if they are in york, book a table in skosh.
Absolutely stunning! Fabulous service and food to die for. You must try the Hens eggs, kuri kare pan and celeriac!!! Superbly priced too, for two of us to eat circa 10 plates of food and 5 drinks totalled £125. We were expecting to pay double that for what we got, no wonder this place is booked up months in advance. If we come back to York we will 100% return.
I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. I cant fault anything. The food was amazing and all of it equally as good, impossible to pick a favourite dish. The service was great as well. If you are a table of two I recommend sitting up the kitchen as I enjoyed watching what the chefs were doing and seeing all the other dishes. Can't wait to go back very soon

Skosh serves up modern fusion cuisine. The food is well thought out and tastes amazing with great flavour combination. I am very happy with the standard of food during my visit and the price is very reasonable for the quality you get some dishes are in fact Michelin star standard. Definitely deserves a 5 star rating.
Had 6 portions with one dessert. They’re delicious and well-prepared. The prices are reasonable comparing to the dishes. I really loved the octopus one and the dessert. The only negative thing I might say is that having too many dishes with different tastes would make the experience less enjoyable and confusing.
we were here in our first night to visit york. very inventive, modern tapas with a small Asian flair. eating was quite tasteful. very friendly service with good recommendations for wein and eating. I could recommend reservations, as there was limited availability when we had broken off on late Sunday afternoon.
What a fabulous restaurant! Friendly and great tasting food that looks as good as it taste. Every dish we have ordered were so amazing! When I have a chance to come back to York again, this place would definitely be on my list! Love it!! Do book well in advance to avoid any disappointment.
