When we put our order in the male staff member couldn't print a receipt for us so the manager came out front and fixed the receipt machine and said to the staff member..have you been opening your till to try and fix this....it costs us 50 cents to $1 every time ..then she said call me if you have a problem again... then while we were waiting she came back out and grabbed the cash till and pulled it forward and said to him ..leave it where I put it ..in a loud voice ...I personally thought she should have taken him aside and spoke quietly and not in front of a store full of people...the chicken was okay though...
Stop at this kfc for lunch passing through Mackay to Rockhampton , place order and waited nearly 12mins at the counter for our meal, after receiving our meal we went to sit down and the tables were a mess looked like they hadn't been cleaned all morning, my son opened he's box to find no chicken pieces so up I went to point out there mistake which was fixed but no apology, then my wife went to eat her mashed potato and spoons or napkins so back to the counter again and again no apology, seems to me this kfc needs to retrain all there staff and managers.
Stayed in Mackay at the Galaxy and the only place still open close by at the time I got in was KFC. Ordered a 3-piece pack with chips/gravy etc and a chips. My wifes chips were rubbish, tail ends, all small and over cooked as were mine, and when i ordered i was told i would be getting all legs as there were no breast meat cooked. The legs were small, gristled and overcooked. complete rubbish meal which we threw most away. Glad my local KFC has a much higher standard.
I was travelling through on Good Friday - nothing else open, so I had to have KFC from this joint. The hot and spicy chicken was dry and burnt, should have been thrown out, but I got it. It has been years since I last had this food and guess what it will be years before I ever have it again. The young man at the counter had no idea of what day it was, so when it came to answering questions about the choices of food he was hopeless. Negver again

I have always been disgusted with their unfriendly staff. Chicken crunch is my wife's favorite, and she has never eaten her meal fully as they always serve it stale, it was really difficult to chew and gulp. Not only just this time, have tried 3 times, always the same. Overall has always been a poor experience. I doubt if I ll go back. Management really needs to look after quality and service.
30 mins wait in the drive through.. had to wait another 3 minutes at the speaker box. Only for them to get my order wrong and forgot my drink . Will not be going back. Will drive the extra 2 km to north Mackay extremely disappointing. If I could I would have drove off like a lot of people did !!!
Don't waste your money on stale cold chicken and chips that were soggy too. The only way to eat real fresh chicken is hot and crispy and this KFC branch got it so wrong. I threw the chips away and gave the cold chicken to the dogs. A real waste of $19..... Maybe North Mackay branch is better....
Looks like they haven't solved the staffing issue from 2007, our experience was an utter disgrace. Cold food, stinking filthy toilets, gravy slopped on the table. And the staff seemingly unaware and not giving a stuff about anything. Won't be back thankfully we were only passing through.

Picked up 2 x 3 piece boxes today (New Years day) Chips had no salt and the chicken was overcooked dry and tough! Couldn't eat it! It was like it had been cooked over a few times! Disgusting ????????????
Cold food, failed to include half the order including dipping sauces etc. service from incompetent staff the worst. 2nd time in ten days and the experience the same on both occasions.
