KFC saved the day!! After spending a miserable day in Newport, rejected by countless restaurants, saying that they don't serve food or have astronomical waiting times, we saw this jewel on the way home. Now I was with many KFC and that was the best experience and the best staff with the best food. The chicken at this point was simply the best at all, not over cooked or undercooked. Only the right amount of snack on the offers. The staff was so nice, especially the Lord who worked the register. Nothing bad to say, the colonial strikes again!
Are there any fast food places in Newport that actually care about their customers? I was really let down by the cold chicken sandwiches at KFC. Honestly, what’s happening? You have no real competition, yet you still can’t get it right! I was charged over $15 for a meal that should have only cost around $3. The coleslaw had no expiration or preparation date and tasted stale. If I get sick, I’m seriously thinking about taking legal action against KFC. I definitely won’t be coming back.
I’ve noticed a lack of consistency with the chicken breast meals I’ve ordered. I went there the other day and again found that the white chicken meat was too tough, and the extra crispy coating had fallen off, making it not crispy at all! Is there a cooking issue? Someone really needs to oversee the cooking process! Additionally, there was an autistic adult who was turning the lights off and on and found it amusing. Is there anyone in charge at the Middletown KFC?
I dined at your restaurant on May 31, 2023, at 5:15 PM, and I must say that the young woman at the counter was absolutely stunning, as well as friendly and helpful! In a time when many businesses are having difficulty hiring, your Middletown, RI location is lucky to have her on your team. She truly embodied the spirit of your company. The chicken sandwiches were fantastic—full of flavor and quite satisfying. The macaroni and cheese was tasty too. However, my top choice was the mashed potatoes with gravy and the green beans with onions; they truly hit the spot!
