My favorite late-night hangout with friends. This cozy gem is hidden away from the turnpike and features a variety of options, including Japanese entrees, Korean noodle dishes, and a few classic American appetizers. I enjoy ordering several small dishes to share at the table, making it feel like a potluck. It's an effortless way to experience a range of flavors and leave feeling full for about $25 to $30 per person, depending on the size of your group. It's always quite dark inside, which makes it easy to lose track of time and immerse yourself in conversation. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff is friendly. I'm always pleased to dine here.
The food at Khan Japanese Kitchen is quite good. I tried the chicken and rice donburi, and the chicken was delightfully crispy. I also sampled the cream tteokbokki, which features a carbonara-style sauce. Instead of the usual long tteokbokki, they use small tteokbokki balls in this dish. While I really liked it, I felt the portion was a bit small for the price. That said, I would definitely order it again because it tasted great. It’s also convenient that the restaurant stays open fairly late, making it a good option for late meals.
We were promptly welcomed after ringing a bell and seated in the back. The atmosphere is stylish, though some areas felt a bit too dim. I tried the Yuzu pouch cocktail, which was delicious and visually striking! Since we were the only guests at the time, our food arrived quickly. The okonomiyaki tasted just like the ones I've had in Japan, making it quite authentic. The menu offers a great variety of Japanese and Korean dishes!
The food and drinks were disappointing and only appear appetizing in photos. There are plenty of better restaurants nearby, and their alcohol is available at grocery stores for half the price. I can’t find a reason to return. The server wasn’t exceptional but did her job.

The food and atmosphere are excellent, but the service leaves much to be desired. The staff mostly stand around chatting and do only the bare minimum, simply delivering your food without going the extra mile.
They might want to adjust their delivery hours instead of canceling orders whenever someone places one within an hour of closing time. It's quite frustrating. However, the food is great! Food rating: 4/5.
Hidden gem in Annendale with delicious Japanese and Korean food and a nice drinks selection. Waiters were attentive and helpful. Will be back soon

I ordered the Chicken Mayo (치킨마요) but received the large intestine donburi instead. Nonetheless, it was still delicious.
