How is it that I’ve lived in or near Evian for over a year and not yet reviewed Khon Kaen? It’s a frequent stop for me and my wife when we’re in town. Located on the pedestrian Rue Nationale, Khon Kaen serves only Thai cuisine, unlike other Asian restaurants that offer up a variety of cuisines. And they do it well. Khon Kaen offers excellent renditions of all the Thai classics, including curries, noodle dishes, Thai-style fried rice and a wide range of stir-fried dishes. In adapting to French tastes, they generally dial back the heat, but they will amp up the heat level upon request. You won’t get “Thai-hot,” but it will be righteous nonetheless. Khon Kaen hits all the right notes … excellent food, excellent service and Very reasonable prices. You won’t be disappointed.

Great service of very fresh and tasty Thai food. Everything was perfect, the flavors were wonderful and every bit as good as high end Thai food that I have eaten in many other cities. The staff were excellent, attentive and eager to help with everything we asked for including items not on the menu. Of course we will be returning on our next trip to Evian.

This is for me the best Thai restaurant in Europe I have ever been. And my wife is a thai citizen and had a restaurant. This is to show you The level. With a fantastic restive and the kindness you find also in Thailand. Just love it!! Do not go anywhere else in Evian if you have to stay for a short time.

Great home cooked meals I tried the beef green curry and fried cashew chicken as well as the Tom yum soup it’s now t on the menu but they will make it) wow

For those who have been much around, it 's excellent. My main ginger beef dish had low gradé beef in watery sauce , accompanied by low grade rice.
