Hmm, okay but not great. Came in on a Sunday morning around 10:30 AM for dimsum and there was no wait (IYKYK it's a rare unicorn that a dimsum restaurant has no wait , but maybe that was a red flag. Dimsum is arguably one of my favorite meals because of the variety of dishes to nibble on, but I feel that Kim Sum missed the mark on seasoning across the board and as a result the meal felt lackluster. Only a few photos for the items I have tried. Pictured is a piglet custard bun, some kind of shumai and soup dumplings. Overall nice to have dim sum on this side of the bridge but I have definitely had better and also note that after a certain time you can only order certain dim sum items and they also cost more. If I was craving dim sum and didn't have time to travel I would grab some but honestly I think you are just better off going over the bridge to Philly. Custard bun was too much bun or custard ratio, custard wasn't bad though just wish there was more of it. Out of everything the shumai was probably the best item, good flavor and right texture. Though I came to shop at the food store next door very often before, I didn’t notice it until a friend suggested that we came here for dim sum one day. Then I came again with family since it is close to us.First, parking is not a problem since the parking lot is quite spacious. Second, the restaurant itself is quite spacious with high ceilings. Third and most important, they have a lot of varieties of dim sum and other items, and it’s quite authentic. Fourth, waitstaff is very friendly and responsive.Check out their website for the menu. We tried this place as we used to come here when it was under different owners. I was wanting great Dim Sun and didn't want to go to Philly. What a mistake. The staff was nice, the place was clean but empty aside from one table and had a slight sour smell. We sat down anyway to look over the big menu. The dumplings had a weird taste as well as the walnut shrimp and the garlic chicken. My daughter had the shrimp shumai and ended up in the bathroom throwing up before we even left. Good food lots of choices went on a Monday afternoon they only had two carts of choices bud had the menu to choose any other dim sum items you may want that they made fresh in the back for you I got there at around 11 and even that early in the morning you were able to order anything off the regular menu to eat we got some food to go ! Everything tasted fresh and no reheated or old or sitting out too long
This place is pretty clean, food is good, and fresh. Honestly service was absolutely TRASH... was my first time here and I was dining with my children and mother. No one came around us with the cart, like we wasn't even in here but service everyone else... I will NEVER return!!!!! I I would give them no stars but that option isn't available...
