Went there on a Friday night. At the door rather than welcoming us the staff stressed that meal had to take two hours top. We acknowledged it while finding that a bit rude. We were in town for the Formula 1 race and we were staying at the Best Western close by. We just started walking and stumbled upon this gem. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It is all you can eat and BYOB. We ordered General Tso chicken and a bunch of sushi. We also ordered pork, beef, fish, shrimp and veggies to cook on the grill that was built in to our table. This was our first time in this kind of restaurant and we had a lot of fun. EVERYTHING we ate was very fresh and tasted wonderful. The price was $26.99 or $29.99 CAD if I remember right. It tells you right on the menu to bring your own alcohol. (The liquor store is next door). Do yourself a favor and check this place out...

When we arrived, they told us we had to be gone, one hour later. I did agree to it but I felt rushed. The Pad thai was really good. The entrance is so small. At least people were squished waiting in line to pay...and others were waiting to be seated .Some people got fed up and left. They include a service charge as part of the bill and then charged tax on the total... really Kimpo? Your restaurant is not great enough to charge a resort level service charge. Although the waiter was nice, I would not have paid tip to a waiter that brought me raw meat in order for me to cook it myself. I am glad I went but I am not quite sure that I would return.

As soon as you walk in they tell you you cant stay more then then when you order they tell again but try to bargain and convince you to leave before the Its not pleasant to be rushed like that. It doesnt make...me want to go again. When it was time to pay they told us we had to go at the cash. mins later somebody else invited us to go pay NOW and leave th espace. We were there for mins. Unaceptable. The food was ok nothing fancy. The concept of cooking is nice . The service was fast . I wont go back because the food was nothing to die for and i dont enjoy being rushed like that when i have a night off with my husband.
Never returning there again for several reasons and I do not recommend this place to anyone. First, we waited for our food for so long..and then the staff mixed up our table with another one. After their mistake, they told us that the kitchen was...closing soon, so we didn’t really have time to eat. Also, a lot of things in the menu was not available and to finish, there was no more dessert at the end (only vanilla ice cream)... per person for literally nothing.. the food’s quality was really not good. Please don’t waste your money going there!
I love Korean BBQ although my experience with this type of food is quite limited. Kimpo BBQ was quite good, but not great. For starters, we were in the restaurant for a Thursday lunch, which surprised us. Service was OK, but I'd have thought...it would have been quicker seeing as we were nearly alone. Food was ok, lacking in flavor for some dishes, excellent for others though. Pricier than what I'm used to for Korean BBQ. Nevertheless, a good fix in when in need! Empty as it was though, one must wonder how long this will remain open....
A really fun experience grilling right at the table. It's bring your own wine and there is an SAQ just next door. The food was high quality we went for the skewers, fresh salmon, sushi, beef, chicken and loved it all.

Asian 'order what you want on a little paper', they bring it to you, you cook it on a small grill on your table. The menu has a lot of variety to choose from. but they seem to forget some of it. Sushis were average.
I think that if you want to taste actual korean bbq might as well go downtown because this was more of a chinese/Japanese resto and the Kimchi tasted bad. The place looked nice though
