I’ve been here twice now in the last couple of weeks and each time I’ve been really impressed. The food has been really good and the chefs have gone out of their way to adhere to my fussy requests which is really amazing. The service...has also been outstanding. All of the staff members I came into contact with couldn’t have been more helpful if they tried they were brilliant. Extremely polite, friendly and very efficient. Thank you for two wonderful visits! I’ll definitely be back!
Met up with a friend for a drink and a chin-wag, ended up demolishing a lovely rack of pork ribs whilst my friend enjoyed a plate of haddock and chips. There's a nice area outside where you can sit and watch the world go by,...plenty of comfortable space, a nice atmosphere woth music at a pleasantly low volume and a fair selection of beers. The draught Peroni was perfect!
Came to enjoy a pint in the sun here was treated with hostility from the staff from the start over having issues with downloading the drinks app waited over half n hour for flat pint of lager in a shabby looking beer garden complimented by...a wreck of a building ,swiftly gulped down beer and left the place to its own demise . Avoid it like the plague or COVID
so happy, this pub as local. many bar staff (political and friendly as always). sa and ordered food that I mixed grill, sarah had sea bass. what can I say perfectly in every sight. the picture will not do the eating. justice best mixed grill I had for old (in a pub). my pint went down quickly so I ordered from the app. it came in minutes big tick in the box Reserva una mesa ahora
Three of us had lunch. 2 had fish and chips, the 5.99 for a lunch in the week. I had a jacket kartoffel with cheese and buzz. worst meal I ever had. how can they get a jacket kartoffel so wrong. harder cheese with. dry drilling my man has not got the reception, but we were overloaded. too late to complain. I had better microwave menus.
beautiful meal. When I ask the young guy where he wants to go, he says the teddy. for the first time he had a medium sirloin and loved it (proud moment) not even we have returned an eating or had a bad experience. the sticky. Cinnamon doughnuts are the best. we met sally tonight and she gave us the best service. many thanks!
As always, we received a friendly welcome. Our food and drinks were served quickly and were delicious and a decent portion size. Our only criticism would be that very few of the staff were wearing masks and, though we know it is now optional, we...felt they should set the example that they are still a good idea.
it wasn't one of them here and it was great to be back. the food was great, quickly arrived and was hot. the parts were considerable and we have what we wanted. the atmosphere was good. Went with my sister and niece for mid week lunch and very pleased with the service and food i had 3 course meal offer which was excellent and my sister and niece had meals off the main meal and both enjoyed their meals very much
