My experience at King Hong has been far better than many other places I've tried. I've ordered from similar restaurants across all five boroughs, as well as Bergen and Hudson counties. The food here is impressively fresh for a takeout spot. Although I haven't ventured beyond the classics, the popular dishes are delicious. They offer generous portions, and the service has been excellent too.
This is the best spot for classic dishes. I've never had any issues with the staff. The ingredients are fresh, and you can really taste the difference, which is crucial for a Chinese restaurant. They do a fantastic job here. The owner is also very friendly, which adds to the experience.
The Chinese takeout at King Hong is quite satisfying. The wonton soup stands out as excellent, while the General Tso's chicken is fairly average. Although labeled spicy, the Szechuan beef lacks the expected level of heat.
