The food I could not fault, however the customer service needs improvement. Not a single member of staff asked if we wanted to eat in or takeaway. We received our food and proceeded to the seating area to eat. During our meal we were approached by a member of staff who loudly stated that it is unfair that we are eating inside as we had not paid the fee which was not made apparent to ourselves. We promptly and politely asked if we could pay the fee to eat inside but we were refused by the staff member and asked to leave. A very strange outcome and clearly the business needs to get their act together and improve the customer experience, I hope they take this on board.
We had popped over to Tewkesbury for a visit to the garden centre nearby and my husband remembered this fish and chip shop’s location for a bite to eat, from the last visit. We each had the most beautiful fish and chips eating them in our car, as the restaurant closes at 2pm. They were extremely fresh and piping hot. The fish was utterly delicious and chips perfectly cooked. We have been let down locally by our own chippy in my city at home because they’ve cut corners and changed oil/recipe so not enjoyable. I wish this chippy was closer as we would buy from them every week as a treat.
I am very disappointed with this restaurant. It used to be great, but the fish was incredibly dry and seemed to have been left out too long (not freshly cooked at 5pm). The curry sauce tasted like it had been microwaved and the chips were very greasy. No wonder they only accept cash now.
This takeout restaurant is amazing! The scampi is the best I've ever had, it could easily be served in a 4-star restaurant. I wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it more often. Highly recommend trying it out in Tewkesbury.

Absolutely gorgeous fish n chips...I took my parents there for lunch..we all had fish n chips..and they were lovely..staff very friendly..we will definitely be going again..
Fabulous fish and chips as always would highly recomend the Kingfisher my friend had fish and chips i had chicken and mushroom pie and chips did not disapoint
Really good fish and chips down a wee side street easily missed if you go to Tewkesbury n you like your grub this restaurant does the job
I purchased some chips last night. They were terrible! They were dry and hard. I will not be returning to this restaurant again!

Luke warm small fish and chips, dry fish soggy batter (stuck to paper and chips), limp chips. Only accepting cash.
The fish and chips were avrage however the service was appalling.
