DIe Kippe is a typical student pub. It should be noted that the low prices for beverages and especially food. If you get a decent portion of the main course for less than 5 euros, you should not expect a gourmet meal, but for the price is the Essen allesal Super. In addition to a (a little more expensive) normal card there are always the so-called hammer foods, quasi a kind of weekly card with changing food on it. The service is friendly and it usually goes quite fast until you have something to eat. There is a beer garden where you can sit out very well in the summer. All in all recommended, especially for Studis.
Cheap food, fleeting service and consistent quality. You can't find anywhere. I like to go to the tip to eat a little bite or just to drink a beer or coffee. Absolutely recommended if you do not expect a Viennese calf carving for EUR 2.50 per carving. I find great because you know what you get. Besides, it just tastes delicious. In summer you can sit very well outside, which is always quite practical in the face of the rush at noon, because there is usually a place to find.
Very interesting location with original ambience and reasonable prices (day offers hammer of the day and also the regular menu). Monninger is presented and under the week there are various actions: Monday's quiz, Tuesday's puzzle, Wednesday's bingo yai! and concerts. In summer, the outdoor area invites you to stay. Classic student pub at Durlacher Tor. The food is very solid and partly, depending on the order, very favorable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. In the summer you can sit in the outer beer garden until 10:00. The interior could be described as original. Especially recommended for people with small wallet.
Very rustic student pub very close to the university. There, too, you'll be fed with quite little money. The Hammer Essen, also known from other locations in Karlsruhe, must not be missing in the tipping. However, the most sold food should be the Hammer Schnitzel with roast potatoes. Always well visited!
