The food here is really fantastic!! The service was excellent. The buttermilk pancakes are in a league of their own the shrimp n grits are the ???!!! The sweet potato pancakes really didn't even need syrup! 4 stars because the place is in desperate need of an update- it looks so old and dirty. When we walked in, I expected the smell of bacon or fried chicken but instead was met by the smell of a very old dusty house. The place was pretty packed though... great food I guess would trump a clean/aesthetically pleasing environment.
I have been coming here since I was a toddler (and I’m in my 40s! and breakfast is still as good as I remember as a child. This week we tried the sweet potato pancakes which were heavenly. I’m such a creature of habit and was scared to move from the buttermilk that are always amazing- but it was a great choice.Service is always friendly, and the food is always fast and efficient.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating for children
Our first time visiting. The food was good. We asked for the bacon to be well done and it was perfect. We especially liked that they had flavored coffee creamer. It was a little more expensive than our usual breakfast place. The only negative thing is if paying by card there is a 3% additional charge. Cash is KING here if you don't want to pay 3% fee. I refuse to pay an additional fee to use my card.
Some of the best food in the Bay. The fried chicken is almost as good as my mom used to make. Melissa, our waitress, was an absolute delight. Not only did she know the menu, like she wrote it herself, she was one of the friendliest, kindest and most attentive waitresses I have ever seen. If you haven’t been, give this restaurant a try, it has to be one of the best in the business!

What can I say about this historical restaurant located in St. Petersburg, FL It is one of the most recommended places to visit , they are consistent in service and serve exceptional food. Here's what I know customer service is great and good customer service is hard to find , but you will find it at this restaurant and you will enjoy the food and staff.

As someone new to the area, I will definitely return to try their breakfast offerings. The prices are very reasonable.Food: 5/5
The food here was a border between good and big. The only thing that kept it from being great was orange juice. The OJ has left a great deal to be desired. Apart from that, the meal was tasteful and delicious. The choice of the Omelettes was amazing and the cheesy geese were smooth. Definitely a good place for sunny brunch.
