Kitanda Espresso Acai Southcenter Mall

Recently, I had the chance to visit a cozy Brazilian coffee and espresso acai bar café located in the South Center Mall. Although it took me some time to find it, a helpful mall employee directed me to the right spot. The café was impressively clean and well-organized, with friendly staff eager to assist me in exploring their menu. I opted for a glass of Passion Juice, a sausage hotdog roll, and two small Kitanda breads made from tapioca flour. The breads were available in small, medium, and large sizes and were delightfully light and fluffy on the inside with a crispy exterior. It’s really hard to find a good açaí bowl in the south end, I use to go out of my way by going into the mall for this place. Now it’s disappointing every single time. Customer is HORRIBLE, if you don’t greet the workers they will just stand there continuing to do whatever they are doing. I made an online order today they forgot two toppings, do better than me CHECK YOUR ORDER before leaving. What am I paying $32 for tipping to not even get the things that should be on my açaí bowl. Just a little sprinkle on top, they must be lazy because they added peanut to the side of the cup to act as if there was peanut in it but if you move the toppings to the side NO PEANUT BUTTER.

I never heard about this place, my friend took me there (as a must see place) when we're shopping at the mall. Place was nice, clean and well-maintained, nicely designed, but In my opinion little hidden from main area. I tried cheese bread, it was delicious and I bought frozen pack(made it at home, everyone loved it), also try chicken cones and hot dogs, everything was delicious, definitely will be back

What I was expecting vs what I got. Please save your hard earned money and avoid this place that’s advertising fresh mangoes and strawberries and instead gives you frozen strawberries and dry sweetened mango. I also got two, yes two almonds! Reserva una mesa ahora

I tried the coxinha and a frutas acai bowl and it was absolutely delicious. I immediately messaged my Brazilian friends to tell them they must come and try it for a taste of home. I was also pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices!

I ordered the classic Brazilian latte and really enjoyed it. It's sweeter than a traditional latte but I like it sweet. I was able to sit in this cafe for a couple hours writing on my laptop while sipping the latte. Very nice atmosphere

The coffee was excellent. My husband commented it was much better than Starbucks. He doesn't like Starbucks. The Kitano bread was fresh and awesome. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Interesting Brazilian treats and sodas. Good espresso. Nice place to chill when it is hot or cold outside. Right behind the entrance next to ATT. Could use a few more tables to sit at. Reserva una mesa ahora

I LOVE KITANDA! The brazilian coffee is amazing, they have brigadeiros and cheese bread. I always enjoy the acai bowls. Definitely Recommend!

This restaurant is a must-try! The açaí bowls were so delicious that my son refused to share his with me.
