I absolutely adore The Red House! I was thrilled to learn that this hidden gem in Renton had new owners and was going to reopen. Fast forward to today, the food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere are all exceptional. We always receive a warm welcome with kind smiles and love. It's clear that the employees here genuinely enjoy being there and working together, which I believe stems from the owner's care for his staff and patrons. One of the waitstaff mentioned that he commutes from North Seattle because he loves working for the owner, which says a lot about the leadership at The Red House. The food is always delicious, especially the pork belly - their pork belly kimchi tacos or nachos are a must...

Great place for drinks and munchies, but they also have entrees (I thought it was tapas only and no full meals). The outside patio was really nice and comfy!!!! I was really happy that the tables were far enough apart and it didn't feel cramped at all, even though there were a lot of people there. There's tons of parking right out front, but they have a nice privacy hedge so you don't hear or see any traffic. Also, this place is kind of hidden but use Google maps if you can cuz it guided me to park right out front of the place before I could even see the sign for the red house!

Just spent $150 for a special occasion meal. Started well. The food was good but then in a near empty restaurant a table of regulars (I say regulars because the waiter knew their drink order) arrived. The remainder of the meal was a disaster. We could not speak over the yelling at the adjacent table. Slurs, inappropriate language etc. the staff did nothing except supply them with more alcohol and food. Aren’t regulars and won’t be back. No one needs to hear that verbal abuse

I had lunch at this restaurant and it was a great experience. The price per person ranged from $20 to $30. The food was delicious, I would give it a rating of 5 out of 5. The service was also excellent, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, I would also give it a perfect score of 5. This was my first time experiencing Red House while visiting old friends in Renton. We had a fantastic time. The service was spot-on, had one of the best old-fashioneds in my entire life!! Also the food was amazing- perfectly seasoned and executed. I would highly recommend this to anyone spending time in the Seattle area. Would definitely have dinner here again. Food: 5

This restaurant is one of the top spots in Renton. Everything on the menu is excellent. I liked it before the ownership change, but now I'm an even bigger fan. The food, service, and atmosphere all get a perfect score of 5.

This was by far the BEST experience I ever had. The servers were so kind and the food was so delicious. This place is so charming and I almost didn’t want to post this so I can keep it to myself…. Forever!!!
