Kitchen Sink was 5/5 on food and service delicious and interesting courses with something for everyone in our party of varying dietary needs. The presentation of the dishes was informative and considerate, and there wasn't a single item that left us unimpressed. On the more challenging side: our group had a huge problem with the sound ambiance in the restaurant. There was no sound dampening in the room, so normal conversation from the six tables led to a cacophony that even a group of people in their 20s and 30s could barely converse over. I loved every moment with the food. Each course was prepared with lots of attention to presentation and more importantly, the flavor profiles were rich and balanced perfectly with one another. The food was filling, and the packing of the night felt good, perhaps a tad slow. The staff was very friendly. The main downside is that the space was too loud, and conversation was really hard, the communal tables are small and I felt way too close to the strangers around me. That day the outside space was closed due to weather, I didn't know if it would be more relaxed on a different day.
Been there twice The Bourdain Tribute Menu and Spring Menu. We truly enjoyed both of the menu, will definitely make a trip to Beacon for their new menu! The team has lots of love to their food and guests, which is rare in NYC. Also the chef has the talent to cook great food without using fancy techniques or meaningless tricks. His food is top notch, better than many of the so called Michelin star chefs. If I can make only one suggestion, they can install a plate warmer system for the hot courses :
I cannot give this place enough praise. The thought that goes into each dish for each menu is amazing. The staff are all incredibly warm and welcoming when you enter. The seating arrangement is interesting at first but becomes homey when you get to speak with the guests next you. While I have no dietary restrictions or allergies, I've seen them be very considerate in accommodating any needs for the night. We will continue to come back for each rotation of menus.
Kitchen Sink catered a lake day lunch during our wedding weekend and it did not disappoint! We wanted something light and fresh, and we wanted to support a local business given our venue was in Cold Spring. They made the menu planning fun, the sandwiches and salads were delicious, and the drop-off catering went off without a hitch. I'd recommend them for your catering needs. Thank you Jeff team!
This is the best restaurant in Beacon! The food is always amazing, and I really love their creativity. Every month or so the menu changes and they develop incredible new dishes around a different type of cuisine or theme. Staff is super nice too vibe is always perfect. Also, Bree is an incredible bartender. Can’t recommend her cocktails enough!
We had an excellent al la carte dinner here on Sunday. The standout was the roasted half chicken shocking tender and juicy, with crispy roast potatoes and a delicious complex asparagus caper sauce. The tempura scallops were also very nice. For such delicious food and large portions, reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.
