as the sign says, eat first dessert and I. the apple cake was delicious! then I had the Texan sandwich. jalapeno cornbread and texas chili. definitiw needed a fork, better still a spoon to eat it. that was also delicious! it was busy and they did a great task to maintain with the patrons. in any case one must try to visit jefferson

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, good, unique food. We enjoyed our cornbread sandwiches and sides of broccoli salad and chicken and dumplings. Service was pretty quick, even though the diner filled up with guests right at opening. The key lime pie was tart and tasty.

Order the REDNECK!!!! OMG that sandwich is to die for. Fried bologna cheese, mayo, onions and lettuce. Plus brought back awesome memories of when my dad and I would go to a little place in Ft. Worth, TX for fried bologna sandwiches. Life is good!

husband said the Keylime pilot was the absolute best he ever had. kornbread club, was different, but good. also the chicken and dumplings are quite good. hometown diner, highly recommended.

A unique take on a sandwich. Worth going to to try it out. Service was great. Price was right. I would definitely return.
