After reading some reviews, I was a bit worried about the customer service at this restaurant. However, when I called ahead with some questions, the staff were incredibly professional, helpful, and polite. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The waitresses were attentive, polite, and efficient. Despite my complicated order, they handled it with ease. I also had a chance to speak with the chef, who was welcoming and lovely. Outdoor seating is a good choice, although it can be a bit noisy near the pedestrian crossing. There is also plenty of space downstairs if you prefer to avoid indoor dining with a large crowd and limited ventilation.

I was not disappointed in the coming. the girls were very attentive,...political and moderate. I had a complicated order and they took everything without hitting an eyelid. very impressed. I also had a chat with the chef who was beautiful and welcoming. outdoor seating are a good option (a bit noisy with the pedestrian crossing). also spacious down when they are as we are nervous over interiors with many people and lack of ventilation.
read a few of the reviews here and was surprised by the hard of some of them, all I can say is we are all humans and we sometimes have a bad day. that's one of the most beautiful caffes I've been in for a long time. the truthahn and swarm in deck sandwich I had was tasty and very welcome after a long walk that was very fresh and the service couldn't fail. I will definitely go back soon the afternoon tee that was delivered to the two ladies sitting next to us looked amazing and when we asked the price seemed great. I bought a rocky road to come out later, which were very cheeky, but nice!
The manageress here is just rude, abrupt and just not really nice. The way she spoke to the customers and the staff there was horrendous . The food took over an hour sandwiches) and two of the four orders were incorrect. I explained my...order was incorrect and she said I was wrong and that’s what I ordered ! My kids each had a babychino (which should be slightly warm milk) was ridiculously hot and pretty much boiling. When we asked for some cold milk to cool them down , the grumpy manageress took offence. It’s such a shame as it has so much potential. I would not recommend going at all.

they make a great cappuccino, but my pflugmanns lunch was like cheese sandwich that I would make home for a quick lunch on a weekday. adding a small tub from branston pickle to a cheese sandwich does not make pflugmanns lunch. the daughter had a medium sea, that was only cheese and dead. So, don't eat special, but my cappuccino was good to share. the sitting area in the ground floor could be soou much more beautiful.
Ordered a southern fried chicken burger, when it arrived it had very pale and undercooked onion rings that tasted awful, an obviously pre frozen( shop bought) burger that also tasted awful… then to top it off a cheese slice!!!! Accompanied with salt and vinegar...crisps. The whole thing was a rip off and disgusting!
As we were passing by, one of the children requested hot chocolate. I peeked inside but it seemed like there were no available tables. The owner reassured us by saying they would put tables together. We ended up enjoying delicious coffees and hot chocolates at a reasonable price.
beautiful afternoon to birthday. we got a big table down next to the river that felt like we had the place for ourselves. we enjoyed warm and friendly hospitality and were very well fed would recommend

I had a wonderful experience at this café! The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the cakes were especially amazing. I highly recommend it.
here some time for coffee cake it is never disappointed. excellent riverside location with helpful staff good environment.
