I initially assumed it was just another customer and believed the owner would clarify the situation, but the banging continued. Soon, I overheard my sister talking to someone, stating, "But you told me she could lock the door." Then I recognized the owner’s voice as she yelled, "If she can’t get into the restroom, she can’t use it!" She kept demanding that I unlock the door.

Do not recommend. Read all the honest negative reviews especially the ones on yelp that got deleted (the not recommended ones). The older blond owner, Beata C., is the rudest person who should not be working in any customer service industry. Bea is nasty and yells for no reason at customers and staff who are just trying to enjoy a night out. She makes the night extremely unpleasant with her screaming vulgarities. We left as did many others. If you want a fun night out then this is NOT your place! If you want to be treated like garbage by a classless woman then this is your place.
I recently dined at Knolls Restaurant, and it was fantastic! This place has it all: amazing food, friendly servers, and live music that adds to the great ambiance.We've decided to celebrate my mother’s birthday here, and it’s the perfect choice. The staff is incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home.The food is exceptional and they also offer great vegan options, which is rare. The live music creates a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend it. Five stars!
The owner is very unprofessional and often intoxicated. She is rude, artificial, and tends to insult and intimidate customers. I've never encountered anything like it before. You can check the reviews on TripAdvisor to see for yourself! The owner has disrespected numerous patrons. I recommend staying away; she seems unstable and is quite intimidating.

I haven't dined here, and I don't plan to after hearing several friends share their experiences of being verbally mistreated by the owner. Additionally, the service was extremely poor. It seems like this place might be closing down soon. Excellent work, owner! You come across as quite unstable.
I enjoy having lunch at Knolls. I sit outside with my puppy and am never forgotten. The food is wonderful. The server suggested spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious. The flatbread is great. This cafe is like Cheers where everyone is a regular.
The service here is severely aweful! I do not recommend this place unless you want to be treated like trash by the owner. The old owner treats the staff, the band and the patrons with the most severe nastiness. Poor customer service.
Place reminds me of a Senior living community. Food is okay. Avoid the weekends, it's elder chaos. And the bar tenders lose their minds often and fight with management. Lack of control. The pros are, good lighting.

We went to Knolls last Friday for Happy Hour and it was fantastic, great selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices, and great service. Not busy at all. I posted their pokey stack and sliders.
Nice place, decent prices but very loud when the band plays. Hard to converse with friends at the same table.
