I ordered the estate dark roast about a week before our vacation, hoping against hope it would arrive in time to take it along put a note in with my order and sure enough, it arrived the day before! So, points for customer service! The coffee was good. I'm not an expert on Kona coffee only knew that it has a good reputation, so I can't speak to how authentic the coffee was. It made a nice morning cuppa with a little heavy cream and a bit of demerara. My son said that it was decent black also. We hunt for a nice high end coffee to take on vacation each year and this was our pick for this year. It was a good coffee. I can't rave about it, but I wasn't disappointed in it either. For the price,...

Recently, I've been exploring Kona coffee and ordered the Tri Pack to give it a try. I found that the Estate blend was by far the best among the three. The shipping for my first order raised some eyebrows because it arrived in a USPS bag that looked as if it had come from eBay or something similar. However, subsequent shipments have arrived in proper boxes. I even sent a bag to a family member in Boston, and although it took a while to get there, they absolutely loved the coffee, just like I do. I plan to try some other Kona brands for comparison, but I haven't experienced any quality issues like some others have mentioned. I would still recommend Koa to others.

I have been ordering Kona coffee for years because it is so smooth to drink. I HATE bitter coffee. I want my coffee to be smooth, and able to taste the quality of the bean. For this reason I never drink dark roast, because the flavor, and caffeine, are burned out of it. I have been ordering from another Hawaiian coffee grower for years, but decided to try another. It was a mistake to try Koa. I ordered 2 bags of Estate Medium roast. The beans were so dark and smelled so burned I had to look at the bag again to make sure they hadn’t sent me dark roast by mistake. If you like smooth coffee, don’t order Koa.

I tried ordering a different product in mid-January, but after a week, my order still hadn't been fulfilled. When I inquired about it, I was told that the item was out of stock, with no estimated time for restocking. This is the second time their website allowed me to place an order and take my payment, only for everything to come to a halt afterward. I had to track the order myself and reach out whenever there was an issue. They didn’t provide any communication about the problems. They are certainly quick to take your money! Customer service from Koa Coffee is horrible. I ordered 3 bags and only received 2. Then took forever to get a response then they just replaced what I was missing and already paid for. This place is horrible. Will not order again. Highly recommend you spend $45 per bag at a place that cares about their customers

I guess I should start from the fact that you cant submit a one star review on their website. if you want a year old coffee with steep price this is the place to get it.

Placed order and 10 days later, no product, no response, no update. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM.
