So I was pleasantly surprised tonight when I ordered uber eats! At first I was like eeeew that sauce looks like something with mayo and sweet, but I had to snub myself and give it a try. Wellll it was actually delicious considering I'm not usually into those flavors, and I really appreciate that it wasn't a thick mayo type sauce, the flavor was on point! I started with the potstickers, and I can't believe I'm saying this but they were probably the best potsickers I've ever had, I let them sit for 10 minutes after the delivery and they were still so crispy. I am very sad to say that we were extremely let down by Kogi Grill. After getting this place recommended to us over and over again, we finally had to try it out. The woman at the counter was very kind. They were extremely busy and she was handling it well. It was very dingy inside, but exactly what you would expect for a place like this. You are not coming here for ambiance, you are coming for what is supposed to be great food. We ordered a large spicy pork kogi bowl and a large beef kogi bowl. Both with a sunny-side-up egg added on top. The flavors of the meat were definitely there, but the meat was extremely dry, chewy, and clearly very low quality. Dry meat over bland rice. Im from Estero. When im in the area I always make sure to get me some Koji Grill. I havent even tried their other offerings because i cant get over the bibimbap. ITS AMAZING! The flavors and ingredients are distinctly delicious. The crew is consistent and seem to enjoy what they do. This place has its own category of flavor. Hurry up and try this place you will, hmm?
