The restaurants food was tasty and served hot. Having seen a few reviews of the venue referring to slow service we were worried when the restaurant told us they'd just sat a table of 18 down before us. However, it should be noted that slow service didn't feature in our experience as the food was served quickly by the polite and well-mannered waiting staff. The madras I ate was, in my opinion, perfectly balanced in terms of spice and reasonably well-flavoured. My partner's food was equally flavoured although she did note she'd have preffered it slightly spicier. We particularly enjoyed the samosas (meat and veg), mushroom fried rice and peshwari naan. that is the second meal I had here and it was excellent at both places. the food I had was not exaggerated, but seasoned and very tasty. the journey of london is worth it. attentive and informative staff that forwards special requests to the chef. this is one of the advantages of visiting a family-run restaurant.

the best Indian takeaway in the opposite. a family business offers a wide range of options on the menu, extremely friendly and up to the earthy people who offer good food at a fair price.

excellent eating, fast and courteous service. the okzial is waiting to expect as this (as it deserves) is a very popular little diamond of a venue. we are coming back
