I’ll preface this review with saying that if you’re wanting vegan pizza, Kona Brewing Co is not the place to go (try Bianelli’s, Herbivore’s, or Get Sum instead). Kona Brewing Co doesn’t currently have vegan cheese, and while their pizzas are great even without cheese, they’re not cheap. When I want that Kona Brewing Co pizza experience, I just buy their pizza dough from the Growler Shack outside the restaurant and bake it at home with my own toppings. I went into this meal knowing that they didn’t have vegan cheese, and not intending to order pizza. I got the Garden Veggie sandwich without the chipotle yogurt dressing and loved it! You can build your own delicious vegan pizza with a multitude of toppings. They also have a vegan macadamia nut pesto sauce YUM! The garden salad was big enough to share and was very fresh. After trying various Kona beers around the island, we finally made it to the brewery itself. With a fantastic selection of brews available for tasting, we decided to go with the sampler. The restaurant boasts a charming outdoor dining area, complete with tiki torches that really set the festive atmosphere of a Hawaiian brewpub. We shared a tasty Greek salad and enjoyed two pizzas. The Pesto pizza, featuring macadamia nuts, was especially delightful, while the Kohala pizza, topped with Portuguese sausage and garlic, was equally amazing. We had beers and ordered edamame and chips and guacamole. But we were served a Mediterranean type platter with hummus, vegetables (and feta cheese). Not sure if the mistake was ours or the server’s (but it was good, nonetheless). Wish there was more than just appetizers because were big fans of the beer!
An ideal destination for beer enthusiasts! They have an impressive variety that appeals to every palate. The food is tasty and served in generous portions, though the prices are a bit on the higher side. Fridays can get quite busy here.
Love the jungle atmosphere of Kona Brewing Company. Several vegetarian options and staff very willing to make adjustments to items to make vegetarian. Delicious pizzas and salads and nice to have a cider option.

Food was great seeing with the best beers in the US. Outdoor seating was nice but can only get better when they move. Nice cozy feel to the area you wouldn't realise when driving in.
I had a great experience here. The beer is awesome and the food too. Highly recommend the hummus plate and the lemongrass beer.
