My father and I visited this café for a coffee, and I came in with a big smile, hoping for a pleasant experience. I tried to talk to the woman behind the glass where the cakes are displayed (whom I’m assuming is the owner of the place with her husband), but my smile was instantly wiped out when she made a terrible face, furrowing her brows. When I politely asked if we could sit and then order, she started walking away and answered me while leaving, which felt incredibly rude. I decided to try their Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, as the place claims to be famous for it, and I also had a black tea. Unfreundlicher Empfang ,noch nie so etwas erlebt . Privates Telefonat musste beendet werden..Die Dame vom Empfang wäre bei der Post . Solange sollte ich mich auf den Stuhl setzten u warten , wie lange es dauert , wüsste man nicht . . Ich ging dann eine Runde mut dem Hund laufen. Dann war die Dame des Hauses da. Kein Guten Tag ! Gleich: Ob der Hund wirklich ruhig wäre man hätte ja doch immer Ärger mit den Hundebesitzern . Mir durfte beim Gepäck nicht geholfen werden von meinem Vater . Keine Fremden im Haus , das gibt nur Ärger, sie hätte schlechte Erfahrungen und sie hätte das Hausrecht dies zu bestimmen. Hilfe wurde mir nicht angeboten . . Parkplatz solle ich mich anstrengen alles einzuhalte...

We've eaten four of them today, and they're all disappointed. The vegan menu offered on the internet has not been offered. We had to wait for dinner for a long time and none convinced us. We ordered our meat through cooked and it was red. It was cleared though not all of them were ready for food. The fork was dirty and the staff was unfriendly and could hardly be German.

Last week there and amazed that we were the only guests at noon. The welcome of the junior chief was very cool and the enthusiast was clear when we thought the Bobbycar was for all the little guests. We also felt very observed by them. Kindness looks different. The service was very nice and the food was quite good. But we didn't feel comfortable. Reserva una mesa ahora

One of 2 operators was really bad and really unfriendly. In the Schw.kirsch cake there were hardly any cherries, pieces approx. 1 cm wide for proud 4 Euro 20. We were back nine years ago and a few days ago, which I definitely regretted. This was also the last time service: 2 Location: 3 Hotel Highlights: Great View

Although it is such a beautiful and well-established place, the behavior of the cafe staff is far from being professional. I recommend you to find a better place in Triberg where you can have a good time with your family, more respectful to tourists. Service: 1

We were the only guests and the ones at noon 1 day before the holy evening. Very cool reception from the junior boss and child unfriendly. They felt observed. The service was very nice. Luckily we were on the way. We got a bad mood for free.

The advertised Schwarzw. Cherry cake was the worst I have ever eaten, then prefer the one from Coopenrat meadow. The locals of Triberg are probably not the customers of this café. The victims are the tourists. Reserva una mesa ahora

Unfortunately, visitors are released. Breakfast is only available for hotel guests, you may have noticed somewhere that there is no public café. Unfortunately disappointing experience after 3 hours drive:

Great location! Stayed as a family of 4 in 1 room. A little tight but overall great stay. The staff (family) is very nice and accommodating! The gartenlokal is very quaint. Service: 5
