Just came back from Surfers Paradise after 4 nights and 5 days. We took our parents with us on this trip and my dad is the fussiest Korean Food eater (Like so many old Korean men, very annoying to have any meal with the traditional Korean dads as they stick to their Korean food religiously, they cannot deviate away from Korean food, so annoying!) that I know of. My mum cooks Korean food at home all the time and I should know what good Korean food should taste like as almost all my families are Korean and I was born and raised as Korean. The soup dishes from Koreana BBQ Restaurant was pretty close to how Koreans would enjoy them, my dad gave his node of approval on the first night we ate out...
I was pleased with the cooked marinated chicken pieces with rice along with side dishes for AUD 16. Tap water was provided without having to ask for it. I thought the price was reasonable although there could be a bit more kimchi but then I love kimchi. Haha.The restaurant seemed to be mainly popular with East Asians which I guess is a good sign.
There were only two ladies serving the tables so of course it wasn't efficient enough. Choices were limited. The water, side dishes and order came 15-20mins after we sit down and made the order,and it was bbq.The korean pancake not worthy the price.There are many better korean restaurants in town,no need to walk all the way up there for this one.
Something new and different to try . Little barbecue in the middle of your table and if you can't cope they do it for you. Whatever you decide to get I recommend that you mix the dish together to get the full flavour. Really healthy cooking once you purchase your meets the salad come free with vegetables. Everyone enjoyed.

We have been dining here for years whenever we are in Surfers Paradise and this trip was no exception. The food is fantastic and I can't recommend this place enough. As far as I am aware it has been in the same ownership for many years and they do a fantastic job. Looking forward to our next visit later in the year.
Serves a good variety of Korean dishes. Prices are reasonble. May have to wait at peak hours. popular with Asian tourists and students. However, is rather crammed and service standard may drop when there are customers waiting to be seated.
We've been coming here for 20 years and the food is consistently excellent. Its a family run business who are very friendly. Clean and popular all year round. You wont be disappointed.
Had a great time here! It was very very reasonable regarding price and portions were generous. Possible the nicest Korean BBQ place me and the fam has been for a while.

Small restaurant on Surfers Paradise but very tasty and extremely friendly staff. Are both Wagyu and steak on bbq, highly recommended. Nice and fresh, tasty and fresh.
I go here almost monthly and the food is always excellent. Service although quiet is very nice and they have a wide variety of food.
