In April, together with a good friend, I visited the “Gourmet Department” of the “Krone” in the tobacco village Hayna near Herxheim for the first time. The generic brand known far beyond the borders of the Palatinate has always been at the top of my “to-eat list” and as “real Herxheimer Kenner” one should have been there. The best gluten-free food ever) food I have eaten. Everything intensely tasteful and super slim dressed. Art on the plate! The terrins very tasteful, the creams too. The tenderest meat duck breast) Eber. Rosa fried. One superlative!
