Kühl's Restaurant Barmstedt

Wir sind vorletztes Wochenende nach einem langen Spaziergang um den See im Kühl's eingekehrt. Wir setzten uns an einen freien Tisch auf die Terrasse, weil es draußen noch nicht allzu kalt war und weil drinnen alle Plätze besetzt waren. Wir hatten das Schild am Eingang leider übersehen, worauf geschrieben stand, dass heute Selbstbedienung für Gäste auf der Terrasse galt. Nach einiger Zeit fragte ich ein Pärchen ein paar Tische weiter und die sagten, man müsse drinnen bestellen. Dann ging alles ganz reibungslos. The food was excellent. Panfish, plaice and sour meat were all great. The beer selection also has something special to offer. The ambience, at least where we were sitting, was a bit cold and took some getting used to, but the waitress, who seemed to be underage, was the one who shot the bird down: the reference to the reservation was answered with pick something , and the question about the cloakroom led to a similar search. After the meal, no further requests were asked, but within 2 minutes I was asked three times whether I wanted to pay in cash or with a credit card. Sehr schöne Ambiente mit toller Terrasse und Traumhaften Blick auf den See. Essen sehr lecker, sehr nettes Personal sehr zu empfehlen. Alles Bestens jederzeit wieder. We had pre-ordered a meal for about 30 people (roast beef, sour meat, herring with fried potatoes), only the fried potatoes had to be made fresh. The food was ok, but far too little. The potatoes only came after repeated requests. Then we had to pay five euros more than agreed. The staff seemed annoyed, except for one. Conclusion: Completely overwhelmed, not recommended.
