But it was apt as I did have some trepidation prior to eating/drinking here as i had heard some mixed reviews, so didn't know how good the overall dining and SAKE drinking experience would be. The venue is smartly decorated with a great ambience and good buzz. Have been here three times now, always as same group of 4, and this was best visit. Previously felt it rated nearly 4 stars, but this time definitely 5. Perhaps our food choices were better suited to our tastes this time! Service previously has been ok but not great - definite improvement this time.Not cheap but worth it (around AU$400 for 4 including lots of food and ample (ie lots of) drinks)
my man brought me here this evening for the birthday dinner of our yr wedding party (winter night) and I was in the Japanese food sky. I really enjoyed it, the service was fast,professional and friendly. our waterglass was always up. only a beautiful restaurant and highly recommended, this. everyone who loves Japanese cuisine. it is a must and they will not regret it
Went in without a reservation, staff were accommodating and friendly. Sashimi selection was nice and fresh. Spicy watermelon salad was yum and the spicy octopus bits were delicious! Takoyaki could use a little bit more octopus in it but over all a good experience! I...would recommend trying it out.

This is a great local restaurant. The food is fresh and some dishes a bit more authentic than normal. Service is very good and worth checking out if you are on this side of the city.
