I went to Kumo for over three years now. Food always tastes the best, but the service is not consistent. I went with my girlfriend many times to Hibachi tables and ordered various apps to try and together a course cause portions are big enough. But last night, when the waitress took our order, we came with a situation where we were told we had to order two dinners to sit at the tables! Another waiter came to our table to repeat what she told us. Left overs are always good to have, but if I prefer to share a dinner, I don't think it was farewell, forced to order a second meal.
Kumo is our must for sushi in the last 2 years and we love their catering tablets. Had dinner there last night and thought it was great! The waitress reviewed things that were gluten-free for me and, as an appetizer my husband had ordered, had gluten, she made sure I was aware! They also have GF soy sauce available. Excellent sushi, great service and still my favorite for take-out!
We went out for Korean BBQ, but it was closed. So naturally our next choice was close by and not closed. We have had sushi many times, but it was our first time here. Delicious is all I can say!! Everything was well presented and delicious. My picky 15 y/o son even got adventurous and tried a new roll and a piece from everyone's plate. That alone tells you how good it was!!
The food was excellent, but I felt a little rushed through the service. The cook did a great show and brought out some high-quality dishes. Steak was cooked for perfection. He also gave a sea of shrimps on the plate. All six of us had a great time and the price was very reasonable.
